Series Homes was established through the collaboration of Dylan - an experienced architectural designer, and Matt - a seasoned builder, who both observed that many housing companies prioritised profits over design expertise and quality, with most being run by project managers. Recognising the need for a better approach that emphasises thoughtful, cohesive designs and construction that prioritises quality and finishes to a high standard, Dylan and Matt joined forces to create Series Homes.

About the designs?

By utilising pre-designed plans that can be extended or combined to meet desired size and room requirements, Series Homes eliminates the need to start architectural design from scratch, resulting in significant time and cost savings. Our pre-designed homes feature a simple and efficient layout, enabling quick and easy construction.

Can we change claddings?

Yes! Materials and claddings on our pre-designed homes can be swapped to achieve either your desired look or durability requirements. Our team has extensive knowledge of cladding alternatives that are appropriate for varying locations, aesthetics, and budgets.

Sqm rates?

At Series Homes, we prioritise high standards in our building designs while also striving to reduce costs and make our buildings affordable. Our pre-designed options are priced at around $4,500 per square meter for the building alone, but additional expenses such as consenting, consultants, and site works must be factored in on top of this amount.

It's important to note that our sqm rates are best estimates, and actual costs can vary greatly based on individual circumstances and project specifications.

Pricing transparency?

Transparency is a core value at Series Homes. To calculate the final build costs, we typically add the cost of materials, contractors, and a 10% margin, along with labour and site costs. We are happy to provide a detailed breakdown of this pricing so that you can make an informed decision with confidence. We don’t have any franchise fees and limited overheads.

Series Homes began with a conversation between an architect and a builder — and a rejection of fragmented housing. Design and construction are treated as one continuous act, led in-house from the outset to protect architectural clarity, intent, and quality.
